I have a new Bible journaling page to share with you today! When I got the Playful Alphabet Dies I knew that I wanted to use the die cut letters as another way to add words to my pages. I love that you can cut out as many letters as you need and can easily switch up the colors. I have been reading through Romans lately and this section about our mindset stuck out to me.

For this page, I blocked off the passage of scripture with some strips of retired washi tape. Then I sponged across the lower portion of the page at an angle with Petal Pink and Calypso Coral ink.

I wanted the words “life and peace” to stand out. So that is what I die cut out from a piece of Just Jade cardstock using the new Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the Playful Alphabet Dies. I laid the words on the page before adding the handwriting.

I used a pencil to lightly sketch out where I wanted the rest of the words to go. Then I glued down the die cut letters* and went over the pencil lines with the Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker. Finally, I removed the washi tape and used the marker to freehand a box around the passage.
*I used the Multi Purpose Liquid Glue because I forgot to adhere an Adhesive Sheet to the cardstock I was die cutting the letters from. Either method will work fine.

I really like how the die cut letters stand out next to my handwriting. How will you use the Playful Alphabet Dies for your pages or projects?
