CARD INSPIRATION

Since this week’s color is such a bubbly blue color, I thought it would pair well with the Bubble Over stamp set and matching Bottles & Bubbles Framelits Dies.  Keep reading for the instructions.

For the card base, use a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ piece of Pacific Point cardstock, scored and folded at 4-1/4″ on the long side.  Cut two 5″ x 3-3/4″ pieces of Whisper White cardstock.  Using the bubbles image and Pacific Point ink, stamp off on scrap paper then stamp towards the top left on one of the white pieces.  Repeat two more times in the same area.  Adhere this piece to the card base.

Stamp the two bottles on Whisper White cardstock with Lemon Lime Twist ink and diecut with the matching framelits dies.  Diecut out the two straws from Pacific Point cardstock.  Stamp the small circle and the “FOR YOU” (inside the circle) on Whisper White cardstock and punch out with the 3/4″ Circle punch.  Add this circle to the label area of the larger bottle, and adhere a straw to the back of each bottle.  Adhere the smaller bottle to the card with SNAIL adhesive and the larger bottle with Dimensionals, slightly overlapping the smaller bottle.

On a piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamp the sentiment with Pacific Point ink and cut out each word, but leave “BUBBLE OVER” as one strip.  Lay out the words on the right side of the card to determine the placement.  Adhere most of the words with the Multipurpose Liquid Glue or the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.  Use Mini Dimensionals to adhere the “BUBBLE OVER” strip.

Take the other 5″ x 3-3/4″ piece of Whisper White cardstock and stamp the bubble image in opposite corners in the same manner as on the front piece.  Adhere this piece to the inside of the card.
