Whenever I get a new Stampin’ Up! catalog I always write up a wish list of all the new goodies I want to get. The Easter Promise stamp set was at the top of my list for the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog. I used this stamp set to make the beautiful Easter card below.

Instructions
To make the card base, cut a piece of Purple Posy cardstock to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score at 4-1/4″ on the long side to fold in half. For the next layer, cut a piece of Purple Posy cardstock to 5-1/4″ x 4″. Emboss this layer piece with the Subtles Embossing Folder. Cut a 5-1/2″ piece of Mint Macaron 1/8″ Sheer Linen Ribbon and wrap across the embossed layer just under center (adhere the ends to the back side, the bow will come later). Adhere this layer to the card base.

Take a sheet of the Purple Posy patterned paper from the Best Dressed 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. Die cut out a hexagon shape using the largest die in the Stitched Nested Labels Dies. Stamp the Happy Easter sentiment on a 2-1/2″ x 3″ piece of Whisper White cardstock with the Black Memento Ink Pad. Adhere this piece to the purple hexagon piece so the shorter edges peek out from the top and bottom of the sentiment piece. Add this layered piece to the card front using Dimensionals.

Cut a 9″ piece of the ribbon and tie in a bow. Adjust the size of the loops to your liking and trim the ends if needed. Adhere the bow to the ribbon on the left side of the sentiment piece using a Glue Dot. Add three Gold Enamel Dots around the sentiment to add some shimmer to the card front.

For the inside of the card, cut the same size hexagon from a piece of Whisper White cardstock. Stamp the sentiment towards the top with the Black Memento Ink Pad. Adhere this piece inside the card.

I love the soft Purple Posy color for this Easter Promise card. This card design is one that could be recreated easily with other colors and sentiments. What are you inspired to make?
Easter Blessings!
