Today, I’m back with some birthday cards, done 3 different ways! I love how you can take a simple design and add some fun extras to step it up. I CASEd these cards from the demonstrator magazine I receive each quarter. All 3 cards use items from the retiring It’s My Party suite from the Occasions Catalog.
Version 1
The first one is a quick and easy card, all you need is cardstock, stamps, ink, and washi tape for an added touch.
Version 2
The second card adds a few more details to the basic design: some DSP under the main image layer, punching out a few stamped candles, a different pattern of washi tape, and a few sequins.
Version 3
A couple more details are added for the third version: adding a popped up banner piece with part of the sentiment, and a baker’s twine bow.
