This Little Piggy Cards

I am really enjoying the bright, bold colors from the Color Theory Designer Series Paper pack.  For today’s cards, I paired the papers with the This Little Piggy stamp set.  I received this set back in April when I attended the Stampin’ Up! On Stage event for demonstrators.  I wasn’t too sold on the set then, but these little piggies are growing on me.

I stamped each piggy on Shimmer Paper and gave them a light coloring with the Aqua Painter and Powder Pink ink pad.  Once dry, I die cut them out with the largest oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

For the card bases, I used Crushed Curry, Berry Burst, Old Olive, and Dapper Denim cardstock.  The gradient papers from the DSP stack were matched up with the same color card base (cut to 5-1/8″ x 3-7/8″) and a piece of 5-1/4″ x 4″ white cardstock was sandwiched between the colored cardstock and the DSP.  I adhered the piggy pieces to a card with Dimensionals, and added 3  Glitter Enamel Dots.
