Throughout the month of October, Stampin’ Up! is having a special promotion on select packs of Designer Series Paper – buy 3 packs and get 1 FREE. I am sharing more One Sheet Wonder templates throughout the month, too. One Sheet Wonders are a way to get the most out of your sheets of Designer Series Paper (DSP) with little to no waste. You can check out all my past One Sheet Wonder card sets here.
For this weeks card set, I used a sheet from the Coffee Break DSP. This pack of paper comes with a variety of coffee themed images and subtle patterns to use for any occasion.
The template for this set is One Sheet Wonder Template #7 and can be used to create 12 cards, 2 each of 6 designs. All of my printable One Sheet Wonder templates can be found in my Make With Me Library. Sign up here to get access to my library of crafty resources…it’s FREE!
For this set of cards, I chose the colorful coffee cups and coffee pots pattern. I used Crumb Cake cardstock for all the card bases and added some Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White cardstock for layering and for making the coffee cups. I used the Coffee Cafe stamp set (which is on sale until October 10th) and the matching Coffee Cups Framelits Dies to make the sentiment cups.
CARDS 1 & 2
These cards use the largest piece of DSP as a full layer on the card base. To make the cup, stamp the coffee cup outline and the lid on a piece of Whisper White cardstock with Basic Black ink. Stamp the “Life happens…” sentiment on a piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock with Basic Black ink. Die cut all three pieces and glue together, then add to card with Dimensionals.
CARDS 3 & 4
For these cards, add a 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock to the base. Adhere the long 2″ wide strip of DSP to the left half of the Pear Pizzazz piece. To make the cup, stamp the coffee cup outline and the sentiment inside on Crumb Cake cardstock with Basic Black ink. Stamp the whipped cream on Whisper White cardstock with Smoky Slate ink. Die cut both pieces, glue together, and add to card with Dimensionals, overlapping the center line.
CARDS 5 & 6
Adhere the square piece of DSP to the same size square of Pear Pizzazz cardstock, but offset so the cardstock is peeking out from the left and top of the DSP, then attach to the card base towards the top. To make the cup, stamp the coffee cup outline on Whisper White cardstock with Crumb Cake ink, then add the sentiment inside with Garden Green ink. Stamp the lid on Whisper White cardstock with Basic Black ink. Die cut both pieces, glue together, and add to card with Dimensionals.
CARDS 7 & 8
For these cards, adhere a 3/4″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock to the card base centered across the card about an inch from the bottom. Add the 3-3/4″ x 2-1/4″ piece of DSP about an inch from the right side of the card base. To make the cup, take a piece of Whisper White cardstock and stamp the coffee cup outline with Basic Black ink, and stamp the lid and sentiment with Garden Green ink. Stamp the wood texture coffee cup image on Crumb Cake cardstock with Crumb Cake ink. Die cut all pieces (use the coffee sleeve die on the wood texture image) and glue together, then add to the card with Dimensionals.
CARDS 9 & 10
Layer the 3″ x 4″ piece of DSP on a 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock and adhere to the card base about a quarter inch from the left and bottom. To make the cup, stamp the coffee cup outline on Crumb Cake cardstock with Early Espresso ink. On a piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamp the lid in Garden Green ink and the sentiment in Early Espresso ink. Die cut all pieces, and use the textured coffee sleeve die on a piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock. Glue piece together and add to card using Dimensionals.
CARDS 11 & 12
For the last two cards, adhere a 3″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock to the card base, then add the final DSP pieces about a quarter inch from the left. To make the cup, stamp the wood texture coffee cup on Crumb Cake cardstock with Early Espress ink. On a piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamp the sentiment with Garden Green ink and the whipped cream with Smoky Slate ink. Die cut all pieces, glue together, and add to the card with Dimensionals.
I’m not a big coffee drinker (though, I love the smell of coffee!) but I couldn’t pass up this fun suite of products. The Coffee Break DSP is part of the great sale this month, and the coordinating stamp set is on sale for a couple more days. Head on over to my online store to take advantage of these awesome deals before they are gone. Keep scrolling down to see more details about these sales and a couple other promotions going on now. Make sure to come back next week for another One Sheet Wonder template featuring one of our 6×6 paper stacks.
If you share the cards you make with my One Sheet Wonder templates on social media, please tag me (@mackenziemakes) and use #makewithDSP so I can see what you are making. Happy stamping!
