One Sheet Wonder Card Set with Fruit Stand DSP

Oct 9, 2016 | One Sheet Wonder

This month Stampin’ Up! is having a sale on select packs of Designer Series Paper (DSP) – buy 3 and get 1 free.  Last week I shared with you a One Sheet Wonder technique to make the most of your Designer Series Paper.  Today, I have another version of a One Sheet Wonder to share.  This card set features a sheet from the Fruit Stand DSP and creates 12 cards.

You can download this weeks One Sheet Wonder template from my Make With Me Library.  Don’t have access to the library yet?  Click here to sign up…it’s free!  I shared a tip for using the templates last week and want to share it again today: take note of the orientation of your DSP as some patterns may only work a certain way.  Depending on how you cut into it could determine if your cards are horizontal or vertical (or some of both).

For this set of cards, I chose to use the apple design from the Fruit Stand DSP.  The phrases are from the coordinating Fresh Fruit stamp set.  On four of the cards, I stamped “Happy Birthday” with Early Espresso ink directly on the card base or on strips of Pear Pizzazz cardstock.

On the next four cards, I stamped “Thank You” on the Pear Pizzazz cardstock, which is used as a mat or as an accent for adding the sentiment.  For one of the cards below (and a couple above), I used the Triple Banner punch to give some interest to the strips of cardstock and DSP.

The last four cards are stamped with the phrase “I’m here for you.”  On the two vertical cards, I punched out the phrase with the Decorative Label punch.  The horizontal cards have the phrase stamped at an angle to follow the line of the DSP.

Like I mentioned last time, using a One Sheet Wonder template is a great way to make a bunch of cards quickly and easily.  All you have to do is decide on a sheet from one of our DSP packs, cut according to the template, and then assemble your cards.  Add in some coordinating cardstock and punches for some more interest.  All the supplies I used for this set of cards can be found at the bottom of this post.

Don’t forget to stock up on some packs of DSP with the sale going on now.  Share with me your creations on social media using #makewithDSP so I can find your creations.  And, make sure to check back next week for another One Sheet Wonder template and card ideas.

If you would like to order any of the supplies used here or any of the items currently on sale (all listed below) use this Host Code: QHMDVBQ3 (only for October 2016) so I can send you a special thank you.

I would like the One sheet wonder template. Doe it tell you which pieces go to each card?
