Just like last year, Stampin’ Up! is doing a Designer Series Paper (DSP) sale for the month of October – buy 3 packs and get 1 FREE! And, I will be sharing 5 brand new One Sheet Wonder templates each Sunday this month to show you how to get the most out of your patterned papers. I started sharing these templates last year, and you can check them out here.
The sale includes papers from the Annual and Holiday catalog, and there are select Specialty and Stack packs included. For today’s card set, I will be showcasing a page from the Painted Autumn DSP. This pack of papers is full of beautiful fall images and colors.
The template for this set is template #6 and can be used to create 9 unique cards, one of which is a fun fold card. All of my printable One Sheet Wonder templates can be found in my Make With Me Library. Sign up here to get access to my library of crafty resources…it’s FREE!
For this set of cards, I chose the multi-colored leaf pattern with the light orange and white dots on the back. I used Very Vanilla cardstock for all the card bases and added some Early Espresso and Peekaboo Peach cardstock for layering. I used the matching stamp set, Painted Harvest, for most of the cards, and used some sentiments from the You’ve Got This stamp set.
This card uses the four small square pieces of DSP layered on a 3-3/8″ x 3-3/8″ piece of Early Espresso cardstock. The sentiment is stamped directly on the card base under the square piece.
The four other square pieces of DSP are used on this card with a slight gap between each and two of them flipped over to reveal the other pattern. The sentiment is stamped on a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock and punched out with the 2″ Circle Punch. A 3″ x 1-1/4″ banner piece of Early Espresso cardstock is added under the circle, and both popped up with Dimensionals.
For this card, two pieces of the DSP are layered at an angle, with one of them flipped over. The larger flower image from the Painted Harvest set was stamped with Peekaboo Peach ink stamped off on a scrap of Very Vanilla. The sentiment was added overtop the flower image using Early Espresso ink, then punched out with the 2″ Circle Punch and added with Dimensionals.
This card is a Tri Panel Fun Fold Card. To make the base, start with a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and score on the long side at 2″, 3-1/8″, 5-3/8″, and 6-1/2″. Fold along the score lines so the center panel is laying above the side panels. Add the 5-1/4″ x 1-3/4″ DSP pieces to the side panels and the 5-1/4″ x 2″ DSP pieces to the center panel. Stamp the large flower image with Peekaboo Peach ink stamped off in the center of a 2-7/8″ x 2-7/8″ piece of Very Vanilla, then stamp the sentiment over top with Early Espresso ink. Layer this piece onto a 3″ x 3″ piece of Peekaboo Peach. To adhere to the card, only run adhesive down the center area of the square to prevent gluing to the other panels. The back side of the center panel is a good space to write your own message.
Use the 2-3/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of DSP for this next card. Stamp the sentiment on a 3/4″ strip of Very Vanilla and use the Triple Banner Punch on the left end. Use the punch again on a 1″ strip of Early Espresso, slightly longer than the Vanilla piece. Layer both banner strips onto the DSP.
Layer the 1″ x 3″ and 3″ x 3-1/2″ pieces of DSP on a 3-1/8″ x 4-5/8″ piece of Early Espresso cardstock, with one piece flipped over, then add to the base. Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock and punch out with the Pretty Label Punch. Use the punch again with a scrap of Early Espresso cardstock. Cut the Early Espresso piece in half horizontally and adhere both pieces to the Vanilla piece to give the look of layer behind it. Adhere to the card using Dimensionals.
This card uses the 5″ x 3-1/2″ piece of DSP, but before adding to the card base, adhere a 5″ x 1/2″ strip of Early Espresso behind the DSP with about a 1/8″ showing. Add a 1″ strip of Peekaboo Peach cardstock with the bottom cut with the Triple Banner Punch to the top of the DSP. Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of Very Vanilla and punch out with the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch and add with Dimensionals.
For this card, adhere the two 4″ x 1-1/2″ piece of DSP to the ends of a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Early Espresso cardstock and add to the card base. Die cut a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock with the largest oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. Stamp the sentiment in the center with Early Espresso ink. Stamp the long detailed leaf image with Garden Green ink a few times around the edge, then go back over it with the more solid image with Lemon Lime Twist ink. Add the stamped oval to the center of the card with Dimensionals.
The final card uses the 4″ x 3″ piece of DSP on the card base. Stamp the sentiment on a 1″ strip of Peekaboo Peach and use the Triple Banner Punch on both ends. Add to the card with Dimensionals.
