Most of the One Sheet Wonder templates I share are for 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (DSP). Today’s template though is made for 6″ x 6″ paper (so you could get four templates from one 12″ x 12″ sheet) using a sheet from the Garden Impressions pack. Check out all the details for this card set below and head over to this section of the blog to see other One Sheet Wonder sets.
The template for this card set is One Sheet Wonder Template #12 in my Make With Me Library (sign up here for your free access). This template will make 5 different cards. Or 20 if you cut down a sheet of 12″ x 12″ DSP.
This set of cards uses Thick Whisper White cardstock for the card bases. Melon Mambo and So Saffron cardstock is used for layering and adding the sentiments. I used the small multi-color floral pattern from the Garden Impressions 6″ x 6″ DSP pack. The sentiments are from the Label Me Pretty stamp set and stamped with Pacific Point ink.
Cut a 4-1/2″ x 2-1/4″ piece of Melon Mambo cardstock and banner cut the end. Banner cut the end of the DSP piece #1 with the Triple Banner Punch. Adhere the Melon Mambo piece to the top of the card about a 1/4″ from the left edge. Adhere the DSP piece to the top, overlapping the cardstock banner. Stamp the sentiment in the bottom right corner.
Cut a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Melon Mambo cardstock and adhere to the card base. Add the DSP piece #2 on the left side of the cardstock layer. Stamp the sentiment on So Saffron cardstock and punch out with the Pretty Label punch. Adhere the punched piece to the card with Dimensionals so most of the piece is on the DSP side.
Cut a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Melon Mambo cardstock and adhere to the card base. Add the DSP piece #3 towards the left side of the cardstock layer (so about a 1/2″ of the cardstock is showing on the left). Stamp the sentiment on So Saffron cardstock and punch out with the Pretty Label punch. Adhere the punched piece to the card with Dimensionals towards the top of the card and overlapping the DSP piece a little.
Adhere a 5-1/2″ x 2″ piece of Melon Mambo cardstock down the center of the card. Add the DSP piece #4 to the center of the card. Stamp the sentiment on So Saffron cardstock and punch out with the 1-3/8″ Circle punch. (Please note: this circle punch is retired, but there is a 1-3/8″ Scallop Circle punch that would work great instead, or match up one of the dies from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies set.) Add the punched piece to the center with Dimensionals.
Cut a 2″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Melon Mambo cardstock. Lay this piece and the DSP piece #5 centered on the card (so the edges meet at the middle) and then adhere down. Stamp the sentiment on So Saffron cardstock and punch out with the Pretty Label punch. Add this piece to the center of the card with Dimensionals.
The Garden Impressions DSP pack is full of fun floral and brushstroke patterns. Find your favorites and use this template to make a quick stack of cards. Feel free to swap out colors and stamp sets to make it your own. I would love to see your creations, so if you share it on social media, tag me (@mackenziemakes) or use the hashtag #makewithDSP so I can find your cards.
