One Sheet Wonder Card Set with Petal Promenade DSP

Jul 27, 2018 | One Sheet Wonder

Have you seen the Petal Promenade DSP yet?  It is simply gorgeous!  One side of the papers has photo-realistic images of flowers and the other side has different texture images.  A couple of the papers have floral frames that you can cut out instead of using like regular Designer Series Paper.  And for a few more days, this pack of DSP (along with a handful of other packs) is part of the Buy 3 Get 1 FREE DSP Sale.  Check out all the paper packs here and get your order in by the 31st.

The template for this card set is One Sheet Wonder Template #11 in my Make With Me Library (sign up here for your free access).  This template will make 10 different cards.  You can check out all the other One Sheet Wonder posts here.

For this set of cards, I used Grapefruit Gove cardstock for the card bases, Mossy Meadow for layering, and Very Vanilla for the sentiments. I picked the sheet from the Petal Promenade DSP that had a mix of soft pink, orange, and white flowers.  All the sentiments are from the Detailed With Love stamp set and inked with the Mossy Meadow ink pad.  On some of the cards, I added a few of the Grapefruit Grove and Petal Pink pearls from the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls pack.  Details for each individual card are below.

Card 1

Cut two 1/2″ x 3-1/4″ strips of Mossy Meadow cardstock.  On the DSP piece #1 run some adhesive on the back at the top and bottom (the long edges).  Attach the Mossy Meadow strips so about a 1/8″ to 1/4″ is peeking out from the DSP.  Add more adhesive to the back of these pieces and attach to the card towards the top.  Stamp the sentiment on Very Vanilla cardstock and punch out with the Pretty Label punch.  Add this piece with Dimensionals.  Add a few of the artisan pearls around the sentiment piece.

Card 2

Add the DSP piece #2 to the top of the card base.  Stamp the sentiment on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and cut out along the edge (or use one of the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies).  Add this piece to the card with Dimensionals and add a few artisan pearls around it.

Card 3

For this card, adhere the DSP piece #3 to the card base.  Stamp the sentiment on Very Vanilla cardstock and diecut with the third smallest circle die from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies.  Die cut a scalloped circle from Mossy Meadow cardstock using the third smallest scalloped circle die from the set.  Layer these two pieces together and add to the card with Dimensionals.  Add a few artisan pearls around the circles.

Card 4

Cut a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock to 4-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ and adhere the DSP piece #4 to the top.  Center this piece on the card base.  Stamp the sentiment on Very Vanilla cardstock and punch out with the Classic Label punch.  Add the punched piece to the bottom section of the Mossy Meadow cardstock layer with Dimensionals.

Card 5

Cut a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock to 3-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ and adhere it to the card front.  Add the DSP piece #5 to the card towards the left side with a little of the Mossy Meadow cardstock still showing.  Stamp the sentiment on Very Vanilla cardstock and punch out with the Pretty Label punch.  Attach this piece towards the right side of the card with Dimensionals.  Add a few artisan pearls around the punched piece.

Card 6

Cut a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock so it is 5-1/4″ long and at least a 1/2″ wide.  Punch along the length of this piece with the Decorative Ribbon Border punch.  Run some SNAIL adhesive along the backside right edge of the DSP piece #6.  Layer on the punched border piece so the scalloped edge is peeking out from the DSP.  Adhere this layered piece to the left side of the card.  Stamp the sentiment on Very Vanilla cardstock and punch out with the Pretty Label punch.  Add this piece towards the right edge of the card.  Add a few artisan pearls around the sentiment piece.

Card 7

Layer the DSP piece #7 onto a 3-1/8″ x 5-1/8″ piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock.  Adhere this to the card towards the top.  Stamp the sentiment on Very Vanilla cardstock and diecut with the third smallest circle die.  Die cut a scalloped circle from Mossy Meadow cardstock using the third smallest scalloped circle die.  Layer these two pieces together and add to the bottom right of the card with Dimensionals.

Card 8

Layer the DSP piece #8 onto a 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock.  Adhere this centered on the card.  Stamp the sentiment on Very Vanilla cardstock and diecut with the second smallest circle die.  Die cut a scalloped circle from Mossy Meadow cardstock using the second smallest scalloped circle die.  Layer these two pieces together and add to the bottom right of the card with Dimensionals.

Card 9

Cut two 1/2″ x 4-1/2″ strips of Mossy Meadow cardstock.  On the DSP piece #9 run some adhesive on the back at the top and bottom (the long edges).  Attach the Mossy Meadow strips so about a 1/8″ to 1/4″ is peeking out from the DSP.  Add more adhesive to the back of these pieces and center it on the card.  Stamp the sentiment on Very Vanilla cardstock and diecut with the second smallest circle die.  Die cut a scalloped circle from Mossy Meadow cardstock using the second smallest scalloped circle die.  Layer these two pieces together and add to the card with Dimensionals.

Card 10

Layer the DSP piece #10 onto a 2-1/8″ x 5-1/8″ piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock.  Adhere this towards the bottom of the card.  Stamp the sentiment on Very Vanilla cardstock and punch out with the 2″ Circle punch so the words are at the top of the circle.  Add some adhesive to the back of the punched piece and slip the bottom portion under the DSP/cardstock layer.

The flowers on the Petal Promenade DSP do all the work for you on these cards.  And you can recreate them with the same pattern I used, or use one of the other gorgeous papers from the pack.  Don’t forget that this pack of DSP (along with a handful of other packs) is part of the Buy 3 Get 1 FREE DSP Sale.  Check out all the paper packs here and make sure to get your order in by the 31st.

Happy making!
