Welcome to a very special blog hop! My awesome team leader, Rachel Tessman of Stamp Your Art Out, reached the 1 Million Dollar Milestone as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator on May 4th! Many of us on her team, Stampers with Art, are participating in this special blog hop to celebrate her milestone. Our projects are all inspired by Rachel in one way or another! Check out my project below. And then follow along to all the other blogs (and on Instagram, too) to see more projects celebrating Rachel!

Since our projects for this hop are inspired by Rachel, I knew exactly what to do! Rachel loves butterflies, the color green, and fun fold cards…so I combined all three of those elements for my card.

This Z-fold card is similar to the one I received from Rachel this past Christmas. I changed it up a little to show off the large Butterfly Brilliance stamp and matching dies.

To get the gradient of color across the butterflies, I made a template using the dies and colored over the stamped image with the Blending Brushes. I used Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay, and Gorgeous Grape ink. Then, I used the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to add some sparkle to the colored butterflies.

To finish it off, I added the die-cut sentiment piece and a few rhinestones.

Thank you for hopping to my site and checking out my project celebrating Rachel! We are all so excited to be celebrating her in this way!

Happy making!
Another great fold that makes me think of Rachel, plus the butterflies. Very nice card.
What a beautiful card, Mackenzie, and how clever to use the die cut as a stencil for it! I hope it’s okay if I case this one!!
Oh, Mackenzie! I love your card!!! Yes..butterflies, green, and fun folds for sure.😊 🦋 Thank you for sharing your creative z-fold card and for sharing the idea of adding color with Blending Brushes through the “stencil.” How fun!
