May 16, 2018 | Colors, New Catalog

In a previous post about the new Color Revamp, you may have noticed the new colors in some of the photos.  Today, I am back to share what those new 2018-2020 In Colors are.  Plus, a super quick card idea that really puts the focus on the colors.

These cards feature a new stamp set available in the upcoming Annual Catalog, called Love What You Do.  You can get your hands on this set, along with other new goodies (and the new In Color ink pads), with this month’s limited-time bundles featuring the Share What You Love product suite.  Check out all the bundles here, and if you order from me with this month’s Host Code (PJUSZ6HC), I will send you my new eBook as a free gift.

To make these cards, start with a piece of 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Black cardstock (scored and folded at 4-1/4″ on the long side to form the card base).  On a piece of 5-1/4″ x 4″ White cardstock, stamp the large watercolor wash image about center left with your desired ink color.  Adhere this layer to the card base.  On a scrap piece of White cardstock, stamp the sentiment with the same ink color.  Die cut out the sentiment with the largest circle from the Stitched Shape Framelits Dies.  Add to the card using Dimensionals.  Since the card base is a dark color, add a White cardstock layer inside for space to add another sentiment or add your own message.

I hope you enjoy these new colors as much as I am.

Happy Making!

~ Mackenzie
